ROLAND PÖNTINEN & CAMERATA NORDICA CHAMBER ENSEMBLE
TUESDAY FEBRUARY 18TH 8PM I GRAND MALMÖ
ENTRANCE 125 SEK ORDINARY/ 50 SEK STUDENT. FREE ENTRANCE BEFORE 7:30 PM
Klubb Krinolin's 2025 concert season opens with a grand performance featuring the acclaimed pianist Roland Pöntinen, accompanied by the Camerata Nordica Chamber Ensemble. The highlight of the evening will be a piano quartet from 2017 composed by film music composer Danny Elfman, known for his soundtracks to films such as Batman and Edward Scissorhands. In the second movement of the piano quartet, one can hear how Elfman plays with the classic schoolyard chant "Naa na naa na naa naa," adding a distinctly humorous touch to the piece! Additionally, we will hear Fauré's second piano quartet, one of Pöntinen's absolute favorites, and Schubert's Notturno.
