Violinist Justina Auškelytė attended Juilliard School in New York and has been awarded several prizes, while also performing on stages across the world, stages such as Lincoln Center in New York and Wiener Musikverein.

In 2004, percussionist Johan Bridger won both the Swedish “Solistpriset” and Belgium International Marimba Duo Competition. He has performed on stages such as Wigmore Hall & Carnegie Hall, and
teaches at several schools in the Northern and Baltic countries.
Tonight they will perform music of Bach, Händel and Piazzolla to mention a few!

Kitgut Quartet

Kitgut Quartet (FR) stops by Krinolin on their first-ever Swedish tour! The quartet, with first violinist Amandine Beyer, questions the origins of string quartets, and explore the various attempts attempts
to write properly instrumental pieces for four voices, in Europe, before the classical period. In different chapters, the Kitgut present another outlook of the birth of the quartet, with the desire to present on
stage what punctuates their rehearsals: dialogue, fun and spontaneity. Tonight they perform music from composers such as Henry Purcell and Matthew Locke, from their debut album which was awarded with a “Diapason Decouverte”.

Two of Sweden’s most sought-after chamber musicians will visit Krinolin tonight – Göran Fröst and Jacob Kellermann, sharing with us a tailor made programme for our unique setting! “En strimma natt” – a light concert experience in darkness. With pieces written by composers such as Boulanger, Piazzolla, Monnakgotla and de Falla, they put together a programme inspired by the night – in order
to inspire creativity in us all!
